Description:
The Wendy Gardner School of Swimming has over 30 years experience in teaching children and adults of all ages to swim, or to improve their swimming ability. All swimming classes are taught by fully qualified A.S.A (The British Governing Body for Swimming) and all swimming lessons are planned according to the A.S.A standards for teaching swimming. Also a teaching assistant will be present in the water at all times for 'Duckling' classes - children who are unable to swim.
All swimming classes include Life Saving, Personal Survival and Resuscitation
With a maximum of 10 people in each class the Wendy Gardner School of Swimming is able to assist each person in achieving their swimming goal. Arethusa Venture Centre
Located in Lower Upnor which is near the Medway City Industrial Estate
Combe Bank School
This school is located in Sundridge which is only a short 10 minutes away from Biggin Hill and Sevenoaks
Dartford Grammar School for Girls
This school is located in Shepherds Lane, Dartford.
Classes Available at the Wendy Gardner School of Swimming;
Non Swimmers (Ducklings) For children who are unable to swim
Shallow Improvers For children who are able to swim 5m unaided on front and back
Swimmers Stroke improvement in deep water
Improvers For children who are able to swim 50m unaided on front and back
Advanced 3 levels progressing children to club level
Adult and Child 4 months to 3 years To introduce babies and toddlers to water learning through a structured lesson. Babies should have had all their injections.
Adults For beginner, improver and advanced levels.
