Picnic Areas in Kent

Having a picnic with the family or as a romantic gesture to a loved on is one of the most popular free activites in Kent. Visiting one of the county's free picnic areas is a great way to explore some of the beautiful Kentish countryside.
Some picnic sites have a visitor centre which may provide leaflets of more information on the surrounding area. Many country parks in the county are starting places for some stunning walks in Kent, the visitor information centre on the site may also provide information on walks.
