The Univeristy of Kent is in Canterbury and is a popular place with students to study. Canterbury itself is a beautiful city and still has many independent traders as well as all major chains that you would expect to find on a city High Street. Westage Gardens offer a tranquil resting place in the city centre where you can enjoy a boat trip up and down the River Stour. Christchurch College, now known as Christchurch University is in the city centre while the University of Kent rests on a picturesque campus a few minutes drive away. The Univertisy of Kent is well worth a visit, or perhaps there is something showing at the Gulbenkian Theatre that may take your interest.
