Description: The Heart of Kent Hospice is a registered Charity based at Preston Hall, Aylesford near Maidstone in Kent. The Hospice has been open since 1991 and provides palliative care to people of Maidstone and the surrounding areas. The Hospice has a specialist team dedicated to the comfort of people who face the challenge of a terminal illness. The Heart of Kent Hospice supports roughly 350 patients, their carers and their families at any one time. The services that the Hospice provide are free of charge and the Hospice relies heavily on donations and charity fund raising events to support this cause.
