Poor old Guy Fawkes! Not only did he fail in his attempt to oust the King and government, but now he seems to have been all but forgotten by today's children. When did you last see some local kiddies collecting a penny for the guy? Well all this is about to change as Moneypenny Productions will be righting this wrong with their explosive new show, Gunpowder, Treason and Plot at the Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells. It’s a family show that mixes storytelling, comedy and theatre and is choc-full of history, hysteria, very silly plots, awful wigs and some very cunning conspiracy theories. The show is on the 5th & 6th November at 3pm. Matt Watts, co-writer of the show said, “It seems that Halloween is taking over and people don’t know why we have fireworks on 5th November. With our show, you’ll learn a bit of history, laugh a lot and enjoy a great show for all the family.”
