Chilham is a picturesque Kent Village located on the road to the famous City of Canterbury. It is a picture of an England from times gone by and as you enter into Chilham Square you will see exactly what we mean. The village of Chilham has been used on a number of occasions as a film set.
Chilham Square is also a market square and it is also used to celebrate May Day. Chilham is the starting point for some beautiful Kent Walks and as there is the White Horse in Chilham Square it makes a perfect place to end a walk.

The oldest buildings in the village probably date back to Tudor times, in the late 14th Century. Chilham Castle, which is stunning, dates back to 1616 but unfortunately it is not open to the public.
