Description:
The Archbishops Palace in Maidstone was originally built in the 14th Century by the Archbishop Courtenay. It is now used as the Towns Registry office.
The palace was formerly part of Maidstone Manor and given to the Archbishops to use as a resting place when they were travelling between London and Canterbury.
Although the Palace is not generally open to the Public it is during Heritage days.
